There is a structure called the valve of Hasner that is supposed to prevent this. The naso-lacrimal duct is supposed to allow things to pass one way, from your eye to your nose. It is probably not a big deal but it may lead to infections if you blow snot up there instead of air.

It is most certainly possible. There is a tiny tube, called the naso-lacrimal duct, which connects the corner of your eye to the inside of your nose. Your tears drain through this. Your tear glands are constantly producing tears, not just when you cry, and they have to drain somewhere, otherwise they'd be constantly dripping down your cheek. When you cry, your tear glands produce more tears than the naso-lacrimal ducts can accomodate, so they do end up dripping down your cheeks in that case. It is possible to blow air backwards through the ducts exactly as you described.

I can do that also! :)
it feels like a cold rush of air in your tear ducts right? I feel that :D
I must admit it's an odd 'talent' haha. Maybe one day I'll find it useful :)
Dont do it. Its very bad for your ophthalmic pressure leading to retinal problems
Um don't do that. You might pop out your eye or something.
