I am a recently divorced woman so there is no one take care of me if anything goes wrong. But I have picked a v good doctor n I must do it as i have wore contact too long n it is time to stop. I have to work to pay mortgage n my expenses so I want to look pretty all the time. I am v scared on the procedure n I will be all alone if I go blind.
What can I do in not getting nervous? Is the prices scary? Will it be painful?
I am an independent person but feel v scare as I just lost my husband n I don't want to lose my vision vs I want to correct shortsightedness n work hard n proof that I am still v independent woman with no flaws.

English isn't your first language, I take it? I wouldn't trust a doctor that didn't tell you up front how much it was going to cost. This dr sounds like a quack.
