Does wearing spectacle for a prolonged period of time?!

Question: Does wearing spectacle for a prolonged period of time?
I have a good eyesight and i don't need any corrective visual aid for now, cause i don't know whether my eyesight will remain the same as the time goes by, but, i recently bought a pair of spectacles just to wear for fun, and basically, i have some question about it....

1) Does wearing spectacles affect your eyesight after you wear them for a long period of time (especially in the afternoon.)

2) Although my spectacles lenses degree is +0.00 for both side, will it still affect my eyesight even though it doesn't have a degree.

3) What does this mean.
I read the Receipt / Collection Slip there is.
Lense(R) R Lens > 1.56 UV EMI HMC x 1
Lense(L) L Lens > 1.56 UV EMI HMC x 1

What does 1.56 UV EMI HMC means?

To be frank i only know that UV is Ultra Violet but, does it block or does it absorb or does it reflect them away.

Please Help Thanks In Advance XD.

Answers:

1.50 index is a normal CR-39 lens.

You have 1.56 which is a mid index lens. It is thinner that the regular lens, plus blocks UV.

Hi-index lenses start at 1.60 , so yours is in the middle. ( mid index )

EMI...I don't know , it is some code from that specific manufacturer , ( it wouldn't be of any great importance ) HMC means hydrophobic multi coated, which means you have a good anti reflection coating with a special treatment to repel water so you don't get water spots.

Lenses like that absorb the UV rather than let it get through to your eyes.

Wearing them all you want shouldn't have any effect on your vision.

0.00 correction means no correction. Wearing these lenses is like looking through a window. So, no, it would not damage your vision.

1.56 refers to the thickness of the plastic. 1.56 is standard these days.

UV refers to ultraviolet.
