Question: How do i explain to my eye dr. that when i look at light with my new contacts?
it creates like a star around them of light or like wings of light. what is a better way to explain it. it might be a problem when i am driving at night.

Answers:

You're already explaining it very well. The doctor needs to hear EXACTLY how it a appears to you, not fancy terminology. It's called a "halo effect", but just use the words you have here - they describe the issue perfectly.
