So, I cant see out of my contacts..?!

Question: So, I cant see out of my contacts..?
I've only been wearing them since yesterday. I have an astigmatism in one eye. Everything looks like it looks when you cry, just slightly out of focus. I also have blurred peripheral vision in my eye with the astigmatism. Is this normal and will it go away once I "get used" to my contacts?
I'm also having a very hard time focusing (resulting in a big headache) :/

you have the wrong prescription.. when i first put my contacts in i could see clear as day and i also have an astigmatism, i've been wearing contacts for about two years now and only when it gets blurry is when i have them inside out, ive been wearing them for to long of a time and need to take them out or they have a rip in them..

sometimes it does take a little while to get used to them. but i have astigmatism too and it didn't do that to me. you might just have mixed them up and put them in the wrong eye!! that happens sometimes! try switching them and see if you can see better.
