I wouldn't want to share the road with you if you were driving without them.

Other than driving, nobody HAS to wear glasses if they don't want to. Whether you wear glasses or not will not affect how bad your vision ultimately becomes. (It won't make your vision worse if you don't wear glasses & it won't make you vision worse if you do wear them).

If you got glasses, it would certainly sharpen up your distance vision.

Here is what I suggest you try. Go on one of the on-line glasses sites such as www.zennioptical.com or www.glassesshop.com (there are others) and order some inexpensive glasses and see what they do for you. If you don't like wearing glasses and don't use them much, you haven't thrown a lot of money at the problem, but you have a pair if you need them. If you use them a lot, you can always get a nice designer pair (or contacts) later on.
