2 hazel eyed parents= what will the baby's eye color be?!


Question: 2 hazel eyed parents= what will the baby's eye color be?
so we both have this eye color =>http://www.makefive.com/categories/exp… (it looks like that in the sun.........

we both have this eye color..

my mom= bright green
maternal grandpa= bright blue
maternal grandma= green-blue (her mom was blond blue eyed)
my mom's brother has bright blue eyes and so does his son and his daughter has bright green..

my dad= hazel like me (im a girl btw)
paternal granny= blue eyes and blond hair
paternal grandpa=i guess brown eyes

Fiance's dad=medium brown
his mom=medium brown
all his siblings have similar eye color as eye maybe more brown but certainly medium-light brown
his grandpa's brother had blue eyes.....i dont know if that would even work though ...what would your grandpa's brother be to you? like an uncle? or another grandpa ?lol...

i know he both have to carry the blue eye allele or what ever... do you think i carry it? i mean my family has a lot of blue eyes .... but i dont know about him.... he only has his grandpa's brother that has blue eyes...i mean that's a long destance family member..dont even know if they would be even related that much.........

Eye color inheritance is not so clear cut as blood type inheritance. There are multiple factors involved, and no real way to predict eye color. It's a bit like trying to predict hair color.



Eye colour inheritance is complex with at least three genes with variable expression and penetrance.

Two hazel eyed parents will have children with blue, green, hazel, brown or dark brown eyes. Blue and dark brown would be least likely. Green, hazel or brown would be more likely.



You're making yourself crazy over something you can't know until the baby is born. There are too many factors.



you'll have to wait and see, that the exitment of things, I'm sure your baby will be beautiful no matter what eye color :)
