Question: What does my eyeglass/contact prescription mean?
right eye -2.00
left -1.75
i use focus dailies one-day contact lenses all day comfort (toric for astigmatism)

The numbers that you show are corrective for low myopia, nearsightedness.
There is no astigmatism indicated by those numbers, so unless you left something out, toric lenses would not be indicated.

Very simply put, astigmatism means that your eyeball isn't spherical. The eyeball is football shaped. When the eye isn't completely spherical, it causes blurry vision because the light that enters your eye isn't able to be clearly focused on the retina. Luckily, they've made great strides in contacts for astigmatism. I have it, too.
