is this normal when you wear glasses?!

figured i'd ask this even though it's been happening for a few years now.. i wear glasses and i'm near sighted(i think, i can't see far away), and i usually wear my glasses while watching tv. i'm usually on my laptop while watching/listening to tv and i've been noticing that i can only wear the glasses for a short amount of time while looking at my laptop screen before it gets all blurry and my eyes start to hurt a bit! i have to either look away from the screen, take the glasses off, or try to refocus my view to continue looking at the laptop. is this normal that i cant continuously look at my laptop with glasses on?
