Glasses are safer and better for you and eye health. I wore contacts for a year and a half, and the first brand I tried dried out my eyes to the point where I had severe dry eye syndrome. I had to go to the optometrist and got prescribed a steriod drop and restasis because my condition was that bad. Later, when I recovered, I switched to a new brand, which suits me. There are more risks to your eyes when you wear contact lenses, and you should ask your doctor about the risks. Contacts (the right brand/type for YOU) are very comfortable otherwise. Glasses are probably safer and there are no risks for GPC, corneal ulcers, dry eye syndrome, etc. You are also less likely to get pink eye/eye infections with glasses (which I have also had). I have had a better experience with glasses, so I like them better. You can try contacts, but as soon as you notice discomfort, stop and go to the doctor. That was my mistake. I wish I was more informed before trying them.

i've worn contacts for 40 years and I still remember how wonderful they were when I first got them. You get massively better eyesight with contacts as you have a better field of vision. With glasses you don't get a good field of vision and only things directly in front of you aren't distorted. The world is a far more beautiful place with contacts. They don't fog up, get covered in water so you can't see, fall off in winds, get broken when you do sports. They mean you don't have something sitting on your face all day every day. I swim in mine - disposable dailies. I also wear them in the wind - the old hard contacts were a bit prone to get things behind them but modern soft contacts aren't as vunerable. I've worn contacts in the desert, the himalayas , camping etc. etc.

I do have glasses as well as you can't wear contacts all day and if you are ill then they can be difficult. Neither do they wear well in front of computer screens as your eyes tend to dry out. If you only enjoy indoor things then possibly they aren't worth it for you. if you like anythign outside or sports or dancing etc. then there is no comparison between the 2. Contacts are light years better.

Definitely contacts. When I wear glasses, they magnify my eyes a lot so it looks very ugly. I wear them to school, and sometimes on weekends if I hang out with my friends.

Well it depends on the situation, if you are going out or play some sports I would recommend contacts, but If you are at home definitely glasses.

I like contacts except in wind or situations when particles of dirt can easily get into your eye, while swimming, etc. It depends on what you are doing and the look you want.
