How do i change my optition from Specsavers?!

Question: How do i change my optition from Specsavers?
I want to change from specsavers to T J Stokes Opticians or Vision Express because i am 14 and the frames are made for 8 year olds but the adult glasses don't fit, i don't have the copy of my prescription and do not want to get another eye test, so could specsavers give me another copy? and how do i tell them that i don't want to stay with them?

Answers:

All UK opticians are legally obliged to give you a copy of your prescription, although they don't always volunteer this.

just go in and ask, you don't have to give a reason. Although yours is perfectly valid.

You don't need to tell them, just go in and ask for a copy of your prescription, you don't need a reason. Then take it to other optician

If you want, tell them that you don't like their range of glasses, and maybe they could order you in a set. It's just business you don't have to be loyal to any company!

You should have bean given a prescription when you last had an eye test, you can take this to any other opticians, you don't have to buy glasses from specsavers just because you had an eye test there, personally i love specsavers .

As far as i am aware of it's like the dentist if you don't want to go to the same place you can change, you could always ask the shop this question over the phone then they won't know who they are talking to.

I believe that your parents may have to ask for your prescription from specsavers themselves

I believe that your parents may have to ask for your prescription from specsavers themselves.I doubt that they'd give it to you with you being considered a minor still.
