For sports and eye safety, sport glasses are always recommended. You can get transition lenses (lenses that change) so you can use them indoors and out. See the link below for some styles. You can go to the home page for it and see where retailers are for this type.

Basketball is quite an active sport... hmmm... sunglasses will probably not work well...

It's better if you just wear contact lenses...

But if you can't and you definitely need Rx Sunnies, then I would recommend OAKLEY's... some of them fit very tight, and are wrap-around. Makesure you get OAKLEY Rx lenses too.
