After an eye transplant, would your eyes change colour?!

Question: After an eye transplant, would your eyes change colour?
It's a strange question, I know but I've been wondering about it after a movie I watched and can't find any conclusive answer on the internet.
So imagine you had to have an eye transplant and you had brown eyes and the person who you were getting the transplant from had blue eyes, would you have blue eyes afterwards?
I kind of doubt it but I'm just curious :)

Hi

As far as Im aware they dont do full eye transplants they usually just transplant components of the eye so the cornea etc. So your eyes would still be the same colour as its the workings of the eye that are replaced instead.

Hope that helps

No. They only transplant the cornea, which has no color. Color comes from the iris, which they don't transplant.
