Why are my eyes so sensitive to light?!

Question: Why are my eyes so sensitive to light?
Every time I go outside in a sunny day, I need to narrow my eyes, really close to not seeing at all. I look down to the ground or make a shadow with my hands on my face. I can't see much when look somewhere else. My eyes hurt after a while of the contact. I know it's normal, but I'm talking about every time, and people around me don't seem to be so affected by it. I've heard that lighter-colored eyes are more sensitive to light, but my eyes are brown and there's no apparent reason for it. Why are my eyes o sensitive to light? Am I just paranoid?

might be astigmatism. It is caused by a natural curvature of the eye, kinda egg shaped that causes a more direct light in your eyes. Try an opthamologist.

its just one of those things. Some people are more sensitive than others. Probably depends on how good your eyelashes aer as well. I'm quite sensitive to light but I also sunburn easilyl My guess is its genetic as depending on the climate where your genetic stock comes from you will need to see with less light.

That's what being in bright sunlight is like for me. I think it's pretty normal. I have dark brown eyes, btw.
