the redness is a sign your eyes aren't getting enough oxygen which is the real danger of sleeping in contacts , particularly those not meant for extended wear. They will stay red until your eyes stop being deprived of oxygen. This is really dangerous , your eyesight can become permanently damaged, never midn teh red and you may not be able to wear contacts again. best that can happen is weeks/months of pain as your eyes heal.

Stop sleeping in your contact lenses. It is very unhealthy for your eye. They are being deprived of oxygen and when you do this and it can damage them over time (the redness is a sign). It only takes a few minutes at night to take them out, and then put them back in the morning. This is a much better solution then permanently ruining your vision. Remember you only have one pair, take care of them!!

If your lenses are causing your eyes to become red or irritated, you should contact your eye care professional. Your eye care professional will recommend the best wearing schedule based on the brand of lenses that they prescribed.

They shouldn't be turning red. Red eyes mean there is an irritant causing it.

If your eyes are red after sleeping with your contacts, the simple solution is to stop sleeping with them because red eyes are a sign something is wrong.
