Question: How do i measure my EYE?!?!(eye contacts question)?

ok, so, a friend and me are gonna buy a pack of colored contacts as a joke and have green eyes at school (well, one green and one natural blue). so i was about to buy them and it says "DIA" and under that "13.8". ??? does dia mean diameter? if so HOW ON EARTH DO I MEASURE MY EYE? i want these to work!!! so what say you on this one? (clearly neither of us wears contacts regularly:P)

LOL...unless you have the instruments and the training...you can't measure your eyes.

Yes 13.8 is the diameter , and there is also a Base Curve number like 8.4 or 8.6 , which is even more important.

Buying contacts without the guidance of an optometrist or optician ( depending where you are ) can end up with lenses that don't fit, and can even cause problems with your eyes.

you cant unless you have medical tools. just go to your eye doctor if you really want them. I just went to my eye doctor and got green contacts a couple hours ago, simple as that.
