What's more tiring to your eyes, far vision or near vision?!


Question: What's more tiring to your eyes, far vision or near vision?
Just wondering. I'm nearsighted but wanted to get an accurate answer.

I think it's near vision thats makes your eyes tired. Like if you sit too close to a computer or whatever it gets tiring but if you look to the distance it releases strain. But if you always look in the distance it's fine. Our eyes were made mostly for distant vision.



Well, when we look at close objects , the lens of the eye has to accommodate , which is to get thicker in the center to allow focusing up close, which isn't it's relaxed state like when we are looking distance.

So, the eye is "working" more to see up close.

Our eyes tire much more after an hour or two of close work than if we were just looking across the street for the same time.

Our eyes are made to easily handle both , but extended close work is more tiring.
