My eyes are sunburnt?!
Question: My eyes are sunburnt?
Ok so i got sunburnt the other day and that night my eyes were all red as well as today. I have researched that it is possible but the symptoms are all different to mine. Mine are red but don't feel sore or sting or anything just around the pupil and colour is red and only where it was exposed to the sun. So is it sunburn and could i get cancer in the eye (i know that sounds a bit stupid but its true) and will it be okay?

Your eyes aren't sunburnt but they are sore from the strong light. Try some eye drops and keep out of strong lights/use sunglasses. The chief risk from strong sunlight is cataracts, not eye cancer and one exposure isn't going to give you any issue or increased risk.
don't worry just give your eyes a bit of a chance to recover. Just dont' keep doing this.
