Are contacts scaryyyyy?!

Question: Are contacts scaryyyyy?
I am getting monthly colored contacts very soon and I have some questions. Are they likely to get lost or stuck in your eye even if you do not rub your eye? Are they easy to put in and take off? What difficulties have you had with contacts and which ones do you wear ie weekly, daily, monthly

They can roll up to the top or down to the bottom if your eyes get dry, but it is rare. Unless you are really squeamish you'll cope fine. Keep a tiny bottle of solution in your bag in case you have to mess with your lenses. Try not to use water, it can contain germs which will infect the eye, especially nicely germinating under a contact lens. Cleanliness is essential.
I've used all types. Daily are easy because you don't have to clean them, but they are more expensive. Comfort and vision is often better with weekly and monthly ones, but you have to be careful about keeping them clean. If you have to wear them for long periods it is worth paying for a more comfortable thinner one which lets more oxygen through.

Its not possible for contacts to get lost in your eye. They may get off centre but its quite rare for soft lenses and they can't get lost. Neither can they get stuck to your eye although it can feel like it sometimes. If this happens its that your eyes have got dry wearing them . Use some contact specific drops and it clears up.

ti is easy to take them in and out but it takes most people about a month to get really good at it. Like riding a bike, seems impossible and then one day you get the hang of it and its the simplest thing in the world. Plenty of tips on answers as well.

I wear forntighly normally but I have dailes for swimming so I can throw them out. There are odd problems with contacts like getting dust on them, gettting them inside out, overwear. None of these are more than a passing nuisance. Major issue is overwear giving oxygen deprivation. You need to be doubly careful with coloured contacts about thsi as they dont' transmit oxygen as well as normal lenses. Oxygen deprivation risks your eyesight and at the minimum gives you painful eyes for weeks, so be careful not to overwear and to have regular checkups.

Heyy (: okay, so i got colored contacts awhile back and at first i had acuve colored contacts and i loved them (: they were comfortable, easy to put in and out. they rarely got lost in my eye. ha. THEN, i had to switch to freshlook and freshlook SUCKS they would always get lost in my eyes. they get dry easily they slide up when you blink. i hate them. now i'm back to normal clear contacts and they are a lot better..

They hardly ever get stuck. You'd kinda have to MAKE them stuck intentionally.
They get easier over time to put in and remove. Just take it slow and use warm water.
Contacts these days are really versatile. Everything is sort-of self explanatory.
If they itch, take them out for a minute. Keep them clean. If you fall asleep in them, don't freak out. They'll be there in the morning.
