What does it mean if one pupil is dilated and the other one works normal?!


Question: What does it mean if one pupil is dilated and the other one works normal?
So throughout today my whole right pupil was huge. it didn't change in size when in the light like it normally would. but by the end of the day it was back to normal. what happened(or what is wrong) to my pupil?

Ok.. the simple answer is:
You accidentally got some type of drug into your eye.. either by comtaminating your hand with the drug, and then wiped your R eye.

IF YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU DIDN'T DO THIS....

Then a dilated pupil = brain / nerve disease or injury. Go and see your Doctor promptly



Did you suffer a blow to the head that day or the day before? A headache?
Nobody can say for sure, at this remove, but unless there was some eyedrop type
medication applied to that eye, a 'blown pupil' can be a serious neurological sign
that needs looking into.
