There's something wrong with my eye!!!!!!!! Help!!!!?!

Question: There's something wrong with my eye!!!!!!!! Help!!!!?
I put my contacts in and my left contact kept bugging me. It felt like there was something on it but i took it out and didn't see anything. So I put it back in and it kept hurting but I had to go to school so I went with it bugging me anyway. Around lunch time I couldn't take it anymore my eye was hurting so bad and sometimes I couldn't keep my eye open so I took out my contact. My eye felt a lot better after I took it out but when I close my eye i get this stinging feeling and my eye starts watering and it's hard for me to open it back up. Could there be a cut on my eye? Should I get it checked out? If it is a cut, and if I'm not careful, could it get infected and could I go blinds on that eye??? Idk I'm probably overreacting but I rlly want to know what's wrong with my eye. Please please help!!!!!!!! I'm really scared!!

This very thing happened to me a month ago. Try putting the left contact lense into the right eye and if you get the same result (hurting) then you know it's the lense (not the eye). Sometimes lenses have tiny tears that you cannot see. If the left lense doesn't hurt in the right eye then check around for lashes in the eye. Sometimes lashes can go up into the upper lid. If that's not it and your left eye is still hurting then go to your eye doctor for a quick check.

first try washing your contact out really well, or if you have disposable ones, throw that one away and put in a new one. there could have been something in your contact, or soap could have gotten in it, making your eye irritated. if your eye still feels bad afterwards, go to an eye doctor. if you haven't noticed it before today, chances are it's just your contact, but you can never be too careful if the problem persists. :)

1-First you want to make sure your contact is not inside out. Take it out and hold it up to the light.. if it appears "flared out" its inside out. If you are not sure.. Try both ways and see if that helps.

2- Use rewetting drops. Like Blink tears. Take your contact out and your the rewetting drop, wait 5 min and put your contacts back in. Use these all through out the day for a couple of days and see if that helps.

3- Sometimes there are small tears in contacts and you can barely see them. If your eyes are still bothering you, throw out the troubled contact and put in a new one. IF this still doesn't work

4- Go see your eye doctor. Preferably an Ophthalmologist, since they are a medical doctor and can help you out if you have a corneal abrasion, etc.

Hope this helps, Good luck!
