Eyeglasses question?!

Question: Eyeglasses question?
So I'm guessing I'm near sighted because I did some research and I can see well upclose but bad far away. If your nearsighted and wear glasses will your eyes appear smaller?

Answers:

Yes you are near sighted. Depending on how near sighted you are, when wearing glasses, your eyes will appear smaller.
Example. If you prescription is od: -1.00 -You will barely even notice a difference of how your eyes look in glasses. If your prescription is od: -9.00 - Your eyes will probably appear smaller and you will probably need a Hi-Index Lens.
Visit your eye doctor and discuss your eyeglass options with the Optician when ordering glasses.

Good Luck.

See my answer to your other question. Something else I want to add - the stronger your prescription, the smaller your eyes will seem. Your prescription is at the ok stage. It also depends on your age - if you're a teen, your eyesight will get worse until 18, then stop, then get better after 30. Then you'll need bifocals. It's a whole life process, if you ask me. So get used to it now! Make the most of your glasses! If you're really concerned about your eyes looking smaller, get contacts. They make your eyes bigger :).

I'm not sure, but I think so because nearsighted would be the opposite of far sighted, and farsighted glasses are just like magnifying glasses for seeing closeup, so they would probably make your eyes look bigger while nearsighted ones would probably make them look smaller.
