Did glasses give you dark circles?!

Question: Did glasses give you dark circles?
I have been wearing prescription glasses since the age of 9.
I am now 20 and recently got contacts but my face looks entirely different then it was even when i was 15.

My eyes look REALLY tired as though they have aged 10 years!
I have bad tan lines from my prescription glasses

and i have really bad dark circles but what is tripping me out is that on my left eye it's one full circle almost reaching to my nose as though i have been punched in the eye.

i put makeup on the left eye to even it out but it looks as though i have recently gotten into a fight.

anyone have this problem from years of wearing prescription glasses?

Dark circles, tan lines, racoon eyes, tired and aged eyes?

Eyeglasses do not give your dark circles. Dark circles can be caused by lack of sleep, allergies, genetics, and I am sure there are more reasons besides eyeglasses Eyeglasses can help reduce the appearance of dark circles if you wear frames with a bottom rim. The bottom rim usually hits around where the dark circle is and reduces its appearance. If a person is nearsighted, then the lens makes the eye and the dark circle appear smaller as well.

I can understand why a person who has wore eyeglasses for an extended period of time might think that eyeglasses caused the circles after getting contact lenses. My friend who normally wears contacts will use his eyeglasses if he has not rested and the dark circles show up. Eyeglasses do not cover them completely but help.

If you want to reduce the appearance of dark circles, I suggest trying retinol K cream, it works really well.

I have dark circles under my eyes and i'm 19, and i've always thought it was due to my glasses. I wore them from an early age (around 5) and noticed the circles developing then.
