meaning of eye-test numbers?!
Question: Meaning of eye-test numbers?
My son has had an eyetest at school and they have reported a 6/9 for right eye and 6/12 +1 for left . I have never seen these numbers on an eye test before Can anyone tell me what this means

Those are visual acuity numbers, in meters, it is not an eyeglasses prescription, you can't order glasses using those numbers, if that is what you are referring to. He would need to go have a proper eye test and get a prescription for glasses.
