Hi you should use a multipurpose solution, rub the contacts then let soak. Cases should be replaced or boiled every three months.

Here is a page with some videos that might help:http://bit.ly/Contacts101 and I think this might help with your solution questions: http://bit.ly/choosingalenssolution

I hope this helps!

-Use clean solution every night
-Just fill the case halfway with solution, no need to fill up the whole thing
-Rinse your case with warm water every morning and leave it empty through out the day
-replace your case about every month
-even if you don't wear your contacts everyday, you still want to keep up with cleaning them. Don't leave them in the same solution for several days
-clean them in your palm, not between your fingertips.. bc that's more likely to tear the center of the contact
-replace them every 2 weeks, don't wear them any more than that

hope this helps

buy the no rub solution and read the directions. opti free works good so does bausch and lombs solution... i never change my case unless it comes with one which both those kinds do oh and wash your hand with a gentle scent free soap before you put your contacts in or take them out
