How do you put in contact's for Toric lenses?!

Question: How do you put in contact's for Toric lenses?
I was just curious as to wether or not putting the lenses in was the same as puttting in regular contact lenses. I think i'm going to have to get them becasue of the fact that I have astigmatism in both my eye's which I have heard that the Toric lenses tend to slip more so you have to be more precise with how you put them on. But i was just wondering if how you put them on is the same and If anyone could give me some good pointers for somone that's just beginning on how to use them. thanks to anyone that replies.

Answers:

Toric lenses do have to be oriented correctly for you to be able to see with them. However if they are fit correctly, they will find the correct orientation on their own. Toric lenses are thicker and less likely to stick to your finger. This is good news if you have ad problems with your old lenses sticking to your finger when you want them to come off on your eye. It can be a problem if it will not stay with your finger all the way up to your eye. This problem can be fixed by laying a mirror down on a table top and bringing your contact up to your eye where gravity keeps the contact on your finger.
