My left contact lens is blurry?!


Question: My left contact lens is blurry?
I just got an exam for contact lens at walmart yesterday, and today i received my trial pair. The women told me to wear them for just 4 hours today, i've worn them for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours now. And, I keep putting my hand over my right and left eye, my right eye is completely clear, very very nice and clear. But, my left eye appears to be very blurry, or atleast, in my opinion it is, compared to the right. The left eye is just so blurry but the right one seems to be Crystal clear but the left is very blurry, i checked and my left contact is in, is this normal? Or what? Please help, thanks! :D

I'm not sure if this applys in your situation or not but, is it possible you have a stronger prescription for your left eye and the left & right contacts got mixed up? If the left eye needs a stronger contact, but the weaker one (for right eye) is in it, it will be blurry. As for the right eye (which would have the left eye contact that is too strong) if you are young, you might hardly notice, because your eye would just use more accommodation. Might be worth investigating. Of course, if the contacts were already in & working OK for a while, before the left eye starting getting blurry, it is due to something else.
