How to know if you need glasses?!

Question: How to know if you need glasses?
Lately I've been having blurry vision. I kind of sit at the back of class. Whenever I look up at the board the words look blurry and it would take time for my eyes to focus on them.I'm an avid reader and I read whenever I get the chance. I went to the doctor and he said I don't need glasses yet. I'm only showing early signs of nearsightedness. Should I go again just to check?

Yes go again. That's how I saw things when I discovered I needed glasses. Things get blurry and you can't see.

Okay, there's a difference between reading the board and reading books. You may be suffering from eye strain. You may be farsighted if your eyes bother you when you read. You can search online for eye exercises to do to help your eyes and relieve some of the strain. Your eyes are muscles and as such you can work to make them stronger. Also, taking plenty of vitamins and eating well helps. Also, if you have any kind of allergies or health problems that can affect your vision so take some vitamins A,C and E, and they will help your eyes. Make sure you get plenty of sleep, drink enough water, eat well, and if you do a lot of reading and computer work, start taking breaks every half hour to rest the eyes. Eyes do not rest, they can be overworked. I would wait a couple of weeks and get your eyes checked again if you still have a problem. You may be sensitive enough to need glasses, but rest and take care of yourself, see if that helps. And at night, you might want to try putting a cold pack on your eyes and take 10 minutes of rest with the cold pack on.
