The insurance I can't help you with as I am not familiar with either one, so it would be best to call them to find out what your plan covers.

What is broken on them? Bring them into the place you originally got them. It could be something that can be repaired, whether it is a screw replacement or just parts, it could cost you only a little bit. You may have a warranty on the frame as well depending on how long ago you got them, if less than a year that's a good possibilty.

Unless they are totally trashed, a good optician can work with you to help with your situation. The lenses may also be able to be fit into another frame to save expense as well. Many times you can just replace the front that holds the lenses or just the temples (side pieces)
