can you cry in contact lenses?!

Question: Can you cry in contact lenses?
ive never cried in contact lenses but when i have the lenses in and my eyes water, the lenses really irritate and itch at my eye, but only when my eyes water so i was wondering

can you cry in contact lenses ??

Answers:

Yes I can ...lol you know it actually makes them feel a lot more comfortable for me when I cry in them because it makes them more moist!

Not only can you cry but it often clears any dust in your eyes and rewets the lenses nicely. In hard contact lenses I found it would leave a bit of a residue that was difficult to get off but thats not the case with soft. You shouldn't have this problem with your eyes watering unless they are watering because of something like onions. Those can be worse in contacts. If there isn't something like that involved check with your optician.

you can absolutely cry - although I hope you are not planning to be sad :)
Think of the tears drops that they sell to rewet your lenses throughout the day, when your eyes well up with tear - you are really just rewetting your contact lenses.

Yes, you can definitely cry. The tears won't cause that much irritation, and they won't fall out, but often times they can fall out when the crier is rubbing his/her eyes or wiping tears away. Hope that helps!

contact wearer :)

Yes you can cry with contact lenses. If your lenses are irritating you when your eyes water, you should go back to your eye doctor and discuss getting lenses for sensitive eyes or maybe glasses.

Yes. Ive cried in my contacts before and its completely safe. I've never had my contacts pop out or anything while doing so, so I'd say yes, you can cry in contacts. (:
