So I am applying for a job at Shop Rite and I think you have to get a drug test. I smoke weed sometimes but I really want a job. If I fail the drug test will I still get the job? How long does weed even stay in your system for?

it really depends on how often you smoke marijuana.

The active ingredient THC is detectable in the urine after 48-72 hours in a one-off or occasional user or up to 6 weeks in a heavy user.

btw, if you have ANY doubt in your mind that you will pass it, do NOT take the test. it will go on your PERMANENT record and will BE there EVERY TIME you try and get a job. you will not only get denied for a job, but they will notify the police most likely. dont take that chance.!

You might want to try some apple cider vinegar a few days prior to the drug test.
