Why is my contact not sitting right in my eye?!

Question: Why is my contact not sitting right in my eye?
I bought my first pair of non prescription colored contacts yesterday, and I feel like my right eye is okay but my left one doesn't sit on my pupil right. It's off to the side a little bit, therefore fogging my vision. Is this normal for contacts to do that? If so, how do I fix it? And on a side note, what am I supposed to do when they start feeling dry? I had to take them out after a few hours today because my eyes were burning from being so dry.

Answers:

If you bought these online....Sorry you got
screwed, robbed......

Buying ANY contact lenses WITHOUT GOING through
an eye doctor or optometrist is a really dumb thing to do.

If you got these contact lenses through your local eye doctor
all you have to do is tell him about this.
He will see what the problem is.

If you got theses colored contacts from someplace online.
You wasted your money and got screwed.

WORD of ADVICE.....EXTREMELY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

DO NOT BUY any COLORED or
any COSTUME CONTACT LENSES online!
PERIOD!!!!!!!!

The problem is contact lenses are NOT A ONE SIZE FITS ALL...
The QUALITY of any online contact lens company from a website or
any internet places HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE.....UNLESS through
your local eye doctor.
AND there is NO SUCH THING as a safe website for buying
contact lenses online...UNLESS through a certified optometrist.

You BEST and SAFEST option is to go to your local eye doctor
that deals with contact lenses and he can do
an eye exam to get the correct sized contact lenses to fit your eyes.

There are optometrists that can get these "colored contact lenses" for you.
In my local city I see eye doctors having signs in their windows for
these colored or costume contact lenses around Halloween time. (I guess
they want to make a few extra dollars during Halloween).
You just have to call around to the eye doctors and ask
about getting these ones.
These will cost more going through an eye doctor.
BUT THIS is the safest route.

IF You buy any of these online, you are asking for trouble. Like
having a CORNEA TRANSPLANT or spending time in the local hospital
in the optic eye ward.
In a lot of states it is illegal to get contact lenses of any type without
going through a certified eye doctor.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE EVEN THINK
of BUYING any TYPE of CONTACT LENS ONLINE.
UNLESS through an optometrist or your local eye doctor.

Amberly?! Ur the one I sent that message to right? I got this question on my phone for some reason lol

Maybe it's a defected contact lens. I'd return it maybe? And you probably just use a lot of drops I'm guessing for dryness.

My own thoughts

Is it inside out?
