Price is actually only $4500 and doctors are being trained in Asia and
South America.

The intraocular lens is in the process of being registired in Europe for
coloboma and ocular albinism treatment. It can be as soon as one year but prices might be much higher once its performed in these countries. The doctors in South America are still being trained for
brightocular such as the doctors from Argentina so I would wait one year for them to be experinced
Ask brightocular for the most experience surgeons as it is your
eyes. You definitly want to stay away from the implant thats
being used in Panama as it has a high risk for increased iop. ( intraocular pressure)

You can ask doctors in Switzerland to order the brightocular implants as they are neatural country
and do not need to register with the European Union.

It's not true, Footpintz. Brightocular has many doctors in many countries. In Argentina it is also done. It's performed by Dr. Mallo.

You have to send an e-mail and ask them. Of course tell them you are from Australia.

A friend of mine, who is from USA and came to Argentina to have this surgery done. He thought about newcoloriris (Panama) but then chose Brightocular.

The only place it is done is in Istanbul.

The cost of the actual surgery is $8500.00 US + Hotel costs for a 1 week stay.

EDIT *****

I did e-mail them , and that was the response they sent me. They didn't mention that it is done elsewhere outside of Istanbul. And, it's $4500.00 until the end of March , then goes back to the regular price of $8500.00
