wrong glasses prescription?!


Question: Wrong glasses prescription?
i just a new prescription for my glasses about a month ago, and im constantly getting headaches and my eyes sting all the time, and im squinting way more when i wear then when i dont. its been a month. i should be use to them by now. i actually started wearing my old ones cause it feels like they put less strain on my eyes. is it possible that i was given the wrong prescription?

It's possible that your Rx needs to be "tweaked". It's possible that the lenses were not made correctly. It's possible that the Pupilary distance is was not measured correctly or the optical center of the lens was not placed correctly. It's possible that there was so much of a change that you cannot get used to the Rx change. It's possible that the material used in the lens is not suiting you as to visual acuity through that lens material (Polycarbonate is the worst).

Many things are possible and the only way you'll know is to take them back to the Doctor and tell him or her you can't see properly out of them. But, ... Hurry .... there usually is a time limit for taking glasses back and not having to pay extra.
