Why do my contacts hurt putting them on?!

Question: Why do my contacts hurt putting them on?
I've had contacts for years now. At first, i had clear contacts and they were painful in the beginning but through the months got easier to put on. Now about a year ago, i got colored contacts and they never hurt putting them on before. Now when i put them on, and they are in my eyes. They burn so badly for a few seconds. It's painfully its not like something i can deal with. Every time i put them on it hurts so badly. Any tips on helping me out.

Likely thing here is contamination. Watch the soap you are using on your hands. Anti bacterial gel is fine , i use it when I'm out with the approval of the optician. Make sure you don't have contaminated solution. could be you are allergic to the solution as well. I fnothing works then go to the optician.

Make sure to wash your hands well before putting them in. Having hand sanitizer and lotion could infect the eye lens. Also, make sure your contacts are NOT DRIED OUT. If they dry out quickly, get solution for them. Also make sure they aren't inside-out. It could cause your eyes to burn. Close your eyes and lightly press on your eye, move your finger around. If your contact is out of place, this means it is inside-out. I do that all the time xD

Make sure you are using overnight solution that is safe for your eyes. Some solutions need to be rinsed off first. Make sure the lenses are the right way out. Wash your hands well before putting them in.
