Why do my contacts burn my eyes?!

Question: Why do my contacts burn my eyes?
I got contacts a few weeks ago. The first couple days they burned bad so I switched solutions. It worked for a while but started hurting again. So I diluted it by filling the case and adding 6 drops of solution. This worked PERFECTLY. I didn't have a problem for a few more days until one of my contacts got wore out and I got a new one. This pair worked like magic for 4-5 days. But now they're burning again. I can't figure out why. They may be dirty but I've tried to clean them and they just won't clean! I still see little specks of dust. I'm not even sure that's the problem. Please help, I'm at loss about what to do. I don't want to have to go back to glasses.

Answers:

Lenses always acquire small specks of dust. If something like that is an issue they hurt rather than burning. Burning implies contamination. Now that maybe something on your hands even if you wash them. Chilles for example can last for days even if you scrub your hands and it gets onto the lenses. could be the soap you are using as well, or perhaps you're not getting it off your hands well enough. Because you are o.k. ofr a while it sounds less likely to be the solution. I 'd look to see if I was doing anythign that could contaminate the lenses. Watch you aren't overwearing as well. If you don't get anywhere go to the optician. This sort of thing will be fixable but you may need a professionals help.

Are you giving your eyes break days? When you first wore them did you put them in for 4 hours one day, 5 the next, 6 the next etc, or did you just try and go for 12 hrs straight? And what do you mean by "filling the case and adding 6 drops of solution"? What did you fill it with? =/
