Eye glasses question? ..Semi stuppiddd?!

Question: Eye glasses question? ..Semi stuppiddd?
I was at the dollar store a few days ago, and noticed they had plane eye glasses on a rack. For sale. Didn't give it any thought. Now I have a school activity (play) that requires glasses, lol. I saw them on sale at a grocery store a few days ago to. I dont really need to be wearing them the whole time so it doesnt matter if they are real lenses and makes my vision blurry, but I was wondering if i would be able to just purchase them at the dollar store without needing like , a perscription. Anybody know about this? thanks a bunch : ) x

yup. you can buy them there. they're just for reading , so they they're pretty much like magnifying glasses. you don't need a prescription for them.
that would probably be the best idea. and since you're only paying a buck or two, i would recommend poking out the actual lenses.
wearing glasses that aren't prescribed to you could mess up your eyesight ,making you actually need glasses.

I'm not really sure about the glasses and prescription stuff, but I'll suggest other ways. Can you poke out the lenses and wear them instead? They don't even have to be real. It could be a toy one; no one can tell when you're onstage.

If you have to wear with some lenses, maybe find one that has glass or plastic, not real lenses.

Or you can wear the 3D glasses they give out in the movie theaters! Just poke out the lenses. They look like this:

Plane eyeglasses or indeed reading glasses you can buy without a perscription. Its contact lenses that require one as they have to be fitted or your eyes can be damaged.

Yes you can.

Yep.
