Glasses with nose pads vs. glasses without?!

Question: Glasses with nose pads vs. glasses without?
Can anyone outline the pros and cons of each and why one might be better... or worse?

Thanks in advance.

It depends a lot on how the bridge of your nose is made. Many people can't wear plastic frames , which don't have nose pads because they just won't fit.

Metal frames with nose pads can be adjusted to sit away from the cheeks so you get better air circulation around them.

Plastic frames tend to slip and ride down the nose a lot more than metal frames.

In general , metal frames can be adjusted for a better fit than plastic frames , especially if one ear is a bit higher than the other , which is very common.

So, unless the plastic frame is a perfect fit on the bridge of the nose, then a metal frame is a lot better.

i don't really have a favourite , although i do prefer the look of the plastic frames (which usually don't have nose pads) better.

without nose pads though , you do need to make sure they are the perfect fit over your nose , so they don't slide down your face all the time.

and with nose pads , after you take them off , they always leave those marks on your nose. haha

i have a couple pairs with nose pads , and a couple without. i don't really notice a difference.

Nose pads tend to put some harmful pressure on the nose. I'd suggest going without them.
