Question: Can my parents have different eye colors?
my mother has green eyes and my father has blue eyes. my eyes are brown but my sisters are blue like my fathers. i know that brown eyes are a dominant trait. sooo whats up here?

yes. It is a question of genetics. Your grandparents had possibly your eye colour, which is why. Dormant genes conected and your eyecolour was defined...



Have you ever heard of something "skipping a generation"? This is most likely what has happened. One of your grandparents is likely to have the same color eyes as you and the genes, while not given to your parents, did get passed on to you. I have green eyes, while my parents and sister all have brown. My grandma however has the exact same color eyes as me. It happens all the time!

both of my parents have very brown eyes , and mine are light blue.
my mom's dad has blue eyes , and so does my dad's mom.
it's just genetics.



It might be carried from grandparents, or generations back. My sister has blue eyes, but her dad has brown eyes, and our mom has green eyes, so it must be a gene carried from grandparents or great-grandparents.



idk a mix? dark or bright? like asain dark brown eyes or tanish
