My contact lenses turned GREEN?!

Question: My contact lenses turned GREEN?
I have one day contact lenses, which my ophthalmologist said that i can wear for up to 4 days to save money. So this is the second day I am wearing them, and now they turned from slightly blue to GREEN. And no, they are not colored contacts. Could it be because I used them in the pool the day before?

Answers:

Probably I would change them today and then not go swimming and if they turn greenish again don't wear them for more than a day!

Me(:

If you swim in lenses you should chuck them otu afterwards because of the infection risk. You've probably got chlorine on them. this is the advantage of dailies. It strikes me as poor advice for you opthalmologist to say you can wear dailies for 4 times the recommended time. Contacts degrade in their ability to pass oxygen so you aren't getting as much as you should. Also dailies are fairly fragile and its easier to end up with them damaged. I suggest you go to another opthalmologist and get a second opinion.

if it's not colored contacts, then how was it blue in the first place?
are they enhancers? because those are still considered colored contacts.

lol run around shouting "hulk smash" lol
