if 3d glasses do not work for me, will I be able to see the 3d produced by new t!

Question: If 3d glasses do not work for me, will I be able to see the 3d produced by new technology (3ds, 3dtv, etc)?
I know that this new technology coming out sends different colors to different eyes, producing a 3d effect. if I've had lazy eye in the past and so my left eye does not work very well and I don't use it really, will my viewing of this new 3d technology be affected too?

(note that I have to struggle to make 3d glasses work. I technically can but it's difficult)

Answers:

I think it uses the same principle of stereoscopic vision to fool the eyes into seeing the 3D effect, so yeah I think the lazy eye will still be a pain in the butt for you, it still is for me hehe. I also am able to see some 3D in several places, but not everywhere. Some people claim it's impossible for a person with lazy eye to see in 3D, but I know it's not since I suffer from the condition and have seen real 3D before. My first experience was in a ride in universal studios, I don't know if they have better technology than movie theaters or what, but BOY I could really see those things on the screen literally pop out and feel as if I could just extend my hand just a little and touch em, also it was the 1st time I saw those black 3d glasses, years before they hit the cinemas. I also have an LG 3D tv that I bought this black friday, actually didn't buy it for the 3D capabilities but because it had a massive discount, it's 55" LED, so I was hoping I could be able to see at least some kind of 3D effect but none of the movies I've seen so far have worked for me so I think 3D tv's are a lost cause for me. Last Blu-Ray I bought was RE4 which is said to have been shot with the highest 3D technology , but it didn't work for me, bummer. But yeah, returning to the subject I have read that 3DS uses the same stereoscopic vision principle, so your eyes have to be basically on the same channel to be able to feel the real effect.

Just blogged about this today! Millions of Americans are affected by Binocular vision problems. It means your eyes aren't working well together.

To improve your 3-D viewing, visit an optometrist to create a optometric vision therapy program. It will help re-educate your brain on how to achieve clear two-eyed vision.

About 15% of people can't see 3D technology or it makes them sick. It has to do with the shape of your eyes, or how your brain processes visual information. Personally, I see nothing at all. My husband has MS, and he does see something, but it makes him dizzy and sick.

Basically, how it works is that the monitor has a 120hz refresh rate. That is twice that of a normal monitor. One eye sees one image, and one eye sees another image. This creates the illusion of 3D.
So yes, having a lazy eye affects it.
