As long as it only last for a minute, it's ok. I've worn contacts for about 20 years? The solution that you soak them in can cause a little burning. Just make sure your fingers are clean when you put them in. Since you aren't really used to them yet, you may be touching your eye a little more than is necessary...totally normal. As long as your eyes don't continually burn/sting or get bloodshot, or an infection, I think you are fine. :)

Different eyes have different reactions to brands of contacts. When I use acute my eyes will water and feel uncomfortable that I have to wet them with lens drops often. But when I use Fresh Looks my eyes feel fine from the moment I put them on. Give it an hour or two. If the watery eyes persist and it feels uncomfortable. Take it out. The problem does not sound like dry eyes. It's more like you need to get use to them.

Make sure you follow the recommended routine exactly.

Do you rinse off the cleaning solution w/ saline b4 insertion? Some solutions say that's not necc, but you mite try that if need be.

If it's just a min of tearing and then it's ok, it's prob not a prob.
