How can I tell if my glasses are correct?!

Question: How can I tell if my glasses are correct?
I bought my glasses online so I can't easily take them back to the store.

I've had them a few days now and they are making me extremely dizzy. Is there any place that will be able to check the prescription from the lenses in order to make sure it is correct? Lenscrafters? Will they do that for me?

Answers:

Some prescriptions require more time to get used to than others. If there is a mistake, there are 3 possibilities: (I have ommitted those possibilities involving combinations of more than one mistake).

1] The original prescription was wrong and the glasses were made to match the prescription, thus making them wrong too.

2] The prescription was correct, but you entered it wrong on-line and the glasses were made to the incorrect prescription and are thus, wrong.

3] The prescription was determined and entered correctly, but the glasses don't match the prescription and are thus, wrong.

Check the return policy for the on-line place where you got the glasses. But, you might also try taking the glasses to the place where you got your eye test, and see if they can verify that they match your prescription [NOTE: keep in mind that, because you didn't get the glasses from them, they aren't going to fix the problem for free!] so there is likely to be a charge for making this determination.

yes, and also opticians can screen it for you , plus when u feel dizzy or headache with ur glasses then it's most probably NOT correct for u whether it's for reading or for far vision
