Mysterious eye twitching?!

Question: Mysterious eye twitching?
Over the last few weeks my eyes have been bone dry when I wake up in the mornings. I put in some "natural tear " eye drops in and then I seem to be fine. Over the past few days, my eyes start to spasm or twitch. I haven't started anything new and I got new glasses in early january that have gelped my headaches I was having before. Is there something I can do to get my eyes to be moist and quit twitching?

Answers:

The main cause of eye twitching would be a lack of sleep; although dehydration or dryness does in fact play a role.
I get that all the time; it's nothing to worry about. Yes, it is a bit annoying but all you need to get rid of this twitching is a few extra hours of sleep (assuming you probably don't sleep that well).
Try drinking a small bottle of water around 30 minutes before going to bed, and make sure you get around 8 1/2 hours of sleep at night.
Get used to this routine and be sure the twitching will stop. ;)
