Having trouble seeing near and far?!

Question: Having trouble seeing near and far?
I wear contacts because I cannot see far. Everything past arm's length is blurry and distorted. Recently, I have been having trouble seeing things near. I am having to squint at books, computers, and papers. Now I can see far with my contacts or glasses on, but everything near is always blurry, even without contacts or glasses on. Does anyone know what is happening?

Answers:

You may need bifocals. In the mean time you can work the muscles in your eye by focusing on something close to you then far away, and repeating.

wear contacts
