Rubbing alcohol in eye?!

Question: Rubbing alcohol in eye?
I accidentally squirted a bit in my eye after I opened it and squeezed the bottle a bit. I rinsed my eyes out with water, at the time the pain was singing, and now a few hours later, it's still irritated. I know some things you need to go to hospital for, but can this stuff cause irreparable damage without medical attention?

I know each product is different, so here's the one I'm using:

Contains 640mL/L isopropyl alcohol

Thank you.

Call the national poison control number. see what they advise

Most likely it is just an irritation you will have to endure for a bit, but it would be wise to consult your primary doctor and ask what they suggest. You don't want to mess with your eyes and take chances. Rinsing with a large amount of water is all they would likely do, which you have done already.

OUCH! I hate when that happens.
Alcohol in the eye is painful but I doubt it will cause permanent damage. Rinse your eye out with saline or water. Call an eye doctor who will see you today.

Go to the doctor. It is very serious. You could lose your eye.

I am working in hospital.
