Question: Why is my eye tearing every morning?
every morning,after i wake up one of my eyes starts tearing for awhile and i have a "sandy" sensation in the eye...than it stops and i go on with my day....any home remedies?thanks

You may either have "dry eye" resulting in the sandy feeling which triggers the reflex tearing in the morning or you may have a mild eye infection. If its just dry eye then there will probably not be mucous.
Try over the counter artificial tears such as Systane or Blink gel tears at bedtime.
