i wanna be taught how to wear my lenses ?!

Question: I wanna be taught how to wear my lenses ?
i just got the contact eye lenses .. the doctor told me how to wear them but when i went home took them off and then tried to wear them again i failed ..
how can i do so ?

Answers:

1. Wash your hands.
2. Put the lense on the tip of your middle finger.
3. Use your index finger (same hand) to stretch your lid, and your other hand to stretch the skin under your eye to "enlarge" the eyeball area.
4. Look up to avoid blinking.
5. Just drop the lense on your eyeball. You don't need to apply pressure.

And to take them off, it will be easier if you use your middle finger to lower the contact on your eyeball (right under the iris), still while looking up and using your other hand to stretch the skin under your eye, and then use the same finger (middle) and your thumb to squeeze the lense lightly.

To tell whether it's upside down or not is quite easy. The curve of the lense should be perfect. When it's upside down, you'll see that the edges will seem to brake that curve. Assuming that you have soft lenses, you can switch it upside down to see the difference. The worst that could happen is that you put it upside down and it would hurt so you would need to take if off. No worries.

And finally, don't forget to discard your bottles of saline/cleansing solution every month to avoid getting an infection.

No one can really 'teach' you to put them in over the internet. As said before it's best to ask the doctor. As for upside down or not, sometimes there is a number/letter sequence printed on the lens. Make sure that is backwards when the lens is curved towards you on your finger. Another way to tell is to look at it closely on your finger. If it looks like a bowl with a lip, it's inside out. the way to tell once they're in is to blink a few times and if your eyes water really bad or you can really feel the lens in your eye or it feels like it is coming out, then they're inside out. Hope this helps!!

Your best bet is to go back to your doctor's office and ask one of the opticians for a lesson.

The sound on my monitor doesn't work, so I can't attest to the sound quality of the video, but it looks like the people in it will show you how to insert the lenses.
