Going to get contacts tomorrow, what to expect and questions!?!

Question: Going to get contacts tomorrow, what to expect and questions!?
Am I allowed to wear makeup? Like eyeliner or mascara? Or should I not wear any?
Also, is it hard to do and will it hurt?
Any tips or ideas what will happen at the appointment?

Answers:

Yes. you can wear just dont wear too heavy makeup because you need to try to put in lenses at the optician. but i wear eyeliner and i think it pretty annoying to wear makeup there. so i think it is better to not wear them. :)
Well, for the first time, yes it is hard because for me it just wont go in. i tried around 4-6 times and it went in. and it WONT hurt at all. just normal. but tears will keep on falling because you never experience any foreign thing in your eyes thats why it feel lil irritated. and it was scary for me to take them out back because im gonna touch and pinch the lenses but then it turned out good. :)

Nothing will happen. just relax and be happy for it.:)
they probaly will check your eyes and measure the diameter of your pupils and others and get the right lenses for u. and they will start to teach you how to put them on. :)

wear for a year

It's a pretty difficult for some, you have to get over te fact of touching your eyeball. They will sit with you at the office and have you take them out and put them in a few times and give techniques an suggestions while you do it. It gets easier with time and yea you can wear make up

Hoo Hoo says you can wear makeup...but it's a lot better if you don't.

Your lenses will get all smudged with makeup while you are trying to get them in , and it just causes problems.

You will learn that eye makeup is to be put on AFTER you have your lenses in .
