My monthly contact lenses rarely last for more than 3 weeks at a time.?!

Question: My monthly contact lenses rarely last for more than 3 weeks at a time.?
I'm getting really distressed at not being able to make them last. I'm seriously losing it. I'm on St John's Wart and it's not doing squat right now, I'm in a really depressed, anxious mood, and I've been getting in one whenever I think of my contacts. We can't afford daily lenses, and I might be able to switch to fortnightlys but I'm still gonna be depressed that I've wasted this lot of lenses - I still have like 9 months worth left-.

Please help. I somehow, no matter how hard I clean my hands etc, manage to get bloody cat hair on these things. I've nearly given up on my eyesight all together, but I know that would be another mistake.

No judgemental answers please.

Thanks.

Answers:

I also have monthly contacts. But sometimes I get little hairs on my contacts, but they always come off when I put them in solution. Yours should come off to, if it doesn't see what your eye provider says. And obviously if you get to much of it on the lens, it will be ruined. But in that case, just take better care of your lenses.

How do you decide when you need a new pair of contact lenses?
